Easy to Produce—Yet Attractive

A scientific publisher often has to handle a variety of information types—such as tables, list or images—in which the look of the content is not always of the highest priority.

For Elsevier, the solution was to keep the production costs low while improving the visual result. Providing grids and flexible templates reduced the need for decision-making in the production process while still allowing variation and thereby giving an appealing overall design.
