Simple Sophistication

FF Primary is a condensed running typeface with straight forms, based on the principles of writing with a broad-nibbed pen. FF Primary Round uses those shapes as a basis, but because of the softer corners it appears in a very different, more contemporary way.

The Stone variants are based on the Bold weight but they are split into four different styles: a left, right, top and bottom part of each letter. When combined correctly, each style on top of the other — for example, each with a different fill — you can obtain certain effects. You control which direction the light comes from and whether the letters have depth (like letters chiseled into stone…).
