With just a few clicks and the answering of a few multiple-choice questions, this website generates a personalized analysis of the user’s rheumatic-related symptoms.

Unlike the complex workings of a patient information system, the user interface was kept simple: clearly structured information—not too much of it—a friendly look, high legibility and geared toward intuitive use.

This system was developed by typographer and programmer Petr van Blokland (petr.com) for the Erasmus University Hospital in Rotterdam and the Dutch Arthritis Association.

The amiable illustrations were created by Jenneke ter Horst.
